FORGARÐUR HELVÍTIS [IS]

Forgarður Helvítis was formed in 1991 in the southern countryside of Iceland by some cousins who had recently taken up their instruments. They all had a similar liking to expressing themselves via extreme music and playing short and fast songs. Grindcore had arrived to this remote island of the northern sea. 
Back in the day Siggi Pönk, their frontman, was an avid tape trader and through his connections the music of Forgarður was spread across the Europian continent, to punks and grindcore enthusiasts that picked up on the unique mixture of blackmetal, grindcore and punk. 
Throughout the years Forgarður Helvítis has been known to unleash furious live shows, plowing through an array of songs in a short amount of time.
