GRAFNÁR [IS]

Grafnár started as an idea by Hrafnsunna Ross and Kristján Reiners. The main goal was to make music that was as harrowing and uncomfortable as black metal, but as straight to the point and violent as hardcore. The lyrical themes that came about were anguish affected by life in the Icelandic countryside. The band really started working when they got Øgmundur Kárason on drums, and the music started to take shape shortly after. Since then, they have released and EP named "Útför heiguls".
